She currently provides individual, family, and couples therapy, and has a concierge division of her private practice for patients that benefit from receiving more care than what the traditional therapy model has to offer. Sarah also mentors new clinicians as she is approved to supervise AMFTs, ACSWs, APCCs, and those who are pursuing their certification as an eating disorder specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. Sarah has presented at, and continues to present at, numerous conferences and universities on eating disorders, trauma, and substance abuse.

Born and raised in Southern California, Sarah completed her graduate studies at the University of Southern California where she was the Dean’s Scholarship & Philanthropic Scholarship Recipient, and graduated with honors and a Masters of Social Work. She completed her undergraduate studies at Chapman University, graduating with honors and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology.

Before starting her private practice, and for almost a decade, Sarah provided intensive therapy at eating disorder inpatient & outpatient treatment centers, in addition to at mental health and substance abuse residential and outpatient facilities. Sarah also spent 3 years working as the director of an adult eating disorder residential treatment center, which was the largest provider of eating disorder treatment in Southern California, and a leader nationwide.

Sarah started her private practice in Orange County after noticing a need for strong outpatient clinicians, especially those that specialized in eating disorders and trauma. Sarah currently sees patients in Newport Beach, via Telehealth, and also travels within the state of California for concierge patients when it is appropriate.

Sarah utilizes a humanistic and psychoanalytic therapeutic approach, while implementing cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, emotion focused therapy interventions, and various other trauma-focused evidence-based interventions. Sarah brings compassion, authenticity, and humor to session, creating a safe environment to grow. With this approach, one feels supported, and simultaneously challenged to take steps towards his/her/their goal(s). Sarah deeply believes that with the proper care, support, and guidance, patients can lead the lives they perhaps once found unattainable.
